Job Title Registered Nurse – LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) Location Aurora, CO | Long-Term Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Projected Start: November 2, 2026 | Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care • Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilator and tracheostomy care, central line management, and wound care • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and adherence to facility standards • Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff • Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:6 Required Qualifications • Active Colorado RN license or multi-state compact RN license • ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (required at time of submission) • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required at time of submission) • Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience in LTAC or a related specialty • Demonstrated experience with ventilator/tracheostomy management and knowledge of central lines Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior travel nursing experience • Wound care experience in an acute or long-term acute care setting • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in an LTAC environment Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a specialized long-term acute care environment with a dedicated clinical team in the Aurora, CO area • 13-week contract engagement with an expected daytime schedule, offering stability and a defined assignment timeline
