Job Title Travel RN – Emergency Room (Nights) Location Independence, MO | Emergency Room Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | 48-Hour Guarantee Option Available Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced freestanding emergency room environment during night shift hours • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff Required Qualifications • Active RN license valid in the state of Missouri (or Compact RN license) • Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience • Current BLS certification required • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior travel nursing experience • Experience in a freestanding or high-volume emergency room setting • Strong critical thinking and triage assessment skills Why Join Us • 48-hour weekly guarantee option available, providing income stability throughout your assignment • Opportunity to gain valuable experience in an emergency room setting with a projected start date in late September 2026
