Job Title MRI Technologist Location Liberty, MO Schedule / Job Type Full-Time | Direct Hire | Onsite | 10-hour mid shifts, 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday | On-call and holiday requirements apply Key Responsibilities • Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, pathology, pharmacology, medical terminology, MR techniques, and patient positioning • Prepare patients for procedures and provide appropriate care during examinations • Perform venipuncture, manage IV access, and administer prescribed medications • Select appropriate pulse sequences based on established protocols and data acquisition parameters • Evaluate medical images for quality and accurate patient identification • Follow ACR MR safety guidelines, including access restrictions, patient and personnel screening, and monitoring of MR areas; apply MR safety principles such as researching implanted devices to minimize risk Required Qualifications • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology or MR Imaging program • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required • BLS certification (American Heart Association) required • Ability to identify and respond to emergency situations Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience educating and monitoring students or other healthcare providers • Familiarity with quality assurance activities within a radiology or MRI department • Strong understanding of factors affecting MR data acquisition and protocol selection Why Join Us • Full-time benefits package available • Consistent Tuesday through Friday schedule with no weekend requirement
