Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Saint Louis, MO | Acute Care Hospital Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio • Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition • Complete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner using EPIC • Fulfill weekend shift requirements (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday rotation on nights, depending on existing unit rotation) • Float within the telemetry service line to meet facility needs as required Required Qualifications • Active RN license in Missouri or a valid Compact license matching permanent residence (Missouri license may be submitted without license in hand; Illinois license must be in hand at time of submittal) • Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required • ACLS certification required (must be obtained by compliance document deadline) • Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior experience with EPIC electronic health records • Experience floating within a telemetry or medical surgical service line • Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and pre-start module requirements Why Join Us • Expected 36 hours per week on a 3x12 schedule, with no on-call requirement and no parking costs at the facility • First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply, making this an excellent opportunity to launch a travel nursing career
