Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Location Lancaster, SC Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 4x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend required Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a short-term acute care hospital setting • Manage a patient assignment at ratios of 1:6–1:7 • Float within scope to meet facility needs, including to like units as required • Attend required staff meetings as scheduled • Complete all assigned facility onboarding modules prior to start date • Participate in emergency response team assignments as required during hurricane season (June–November) Required Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience • Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered • Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required • Proficiency with Epic electronic health records Preferred Experience / Skills • Telemetry experience strongly preferred • Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias Why Join Us • Opportunity to work at a short-term acute care facility with no on-call requirements and no-cost parking • Block scheduling requests may be considered for approval prior to assignment start
