Job Title Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift) Location Frankfort, KY | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department operating as a Level 3 Trauma Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI, and Stroke Certified facility • Manage a patient ratio of 1:4 during night shift alongside a team that includes a Charge Nurse Coordinator, fellow RNs, a Unit Clerk, and a Greeter • Operate and monitor patients using GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and Ranger blood warmer • Document all patient care accurately using the Meditech Expanse EMR system • Respond to and manage emergency, trauma, chest pain, and stroke presentations in accordance with facility protocols • Maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale certification standards throughout the assignment Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kentucky or a compact state • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale • Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech Expanse EMR Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or acute care setting • Experience working in a trauma-designated or stroke-certified facility • Familiarity with GE monitoring systems and Lifepak devices Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a well-staffed, multi-accredited Emergency Department with a supportive team structure and specialized clinical environment • 13-week contract with a projected start date in late October 2026, offering a defined and plannable travel assignment
