Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Mayfield Heights, OH | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 13–18 week contract options available Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients • Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations • Maintain active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications throughout the duration of the contract Required Qualifications • Active, permanent Ohio RN license or a Compact state RN license in hand at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted • Minimum of 12 months permanent employment experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry • Active AHA BLS certification required in hand at time of submission • Active ACLS certification required in hand at time of submission • One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references are not accepted) • Local candidates are welcome and accepted Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience gained within a single facility or location preferred, though not required • Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation in an acute care setting • Prior travel nursing experience with knowledge of compliance-driven onboarding processes Why Join Us • Opportunity to work within a well-regarded health system with flexible contract length options ranging from 13 to 18 weeks • Expected schedule of 36 hours per week with a consistent night shift schedule
