Job Title Travel Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Location Lone Tree, Colorado Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: June 15, 2026 Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Orthopedic unit maintaining a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5, with a maximum of 1:6 • Manage and monitor patients with chest tubes, Hemavac drains, wound vacs, JP drains, PCA pumps, and Foley catheters • Perform drain removals and coordinate PICC line placements in collaboration with the Infusion team • Document and manage patient care using the Meditech EMR system • Utilize mobility lift equipment as appropriate to ensure patient safety • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PCTs and a patient-free charge nurse Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license • Current BLS certification • Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Orthopedic experience • Minimum of 2 years of overall RN experience Preferred Experience / Skills • Orthopedic and/or Trauma background strongly preferred • Medical/Surgical experience is acceptable and welcomed Why Join Us • Work in a structured, collaborative Orthopedic unit with consistent staffing support and defined patient ratios • Join a team that values a positive, flexible, and collaborative work environment
