Job Title Registered Nurse – Telemetry Location Evanston, IL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 10–14 Weeks | Full-Time | 12-Hour Day Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed Key Responsibilities • Provide direct inpatient nursing care for Med/Surg and Telemetry patients in an acute care setting • Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition • Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS protocols • Float to other Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed — first to float per unit policy • Participate in orientation as scheduled on assigned days Required Qualifications • Active Illinois RN License • BLS Certification required • NIHSS Certification required • Must pass facility EKG Competency Test • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Neurology nursing experience • New graduates are not eligible for this position Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience caring for inpatient Med/Surg and Telemetry patient populations • Familiarity with floating across similar acuity units in a hospital environment Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care environment with a diverse Med/Surg and Telemetry patient population • Expected 12-hour day shifts with a consistent schedule structure throughout the contract period
