Job Title Registered Nurse – Telemetry Location Glenview, IL | Telemetry / Medical-Surgical Schedule / Job Type Contract | 8 Weeks | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Every-Other Weekend Required Key Responsibilities • Provide direct nursing care to telemetry and medical-surgical patients, including boarded patients within the Emergency Department setting • Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; EKG proficiency is required • Float to other medical-surgical units as needed based on census and staffing demands • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes • Adhere to holiday coverage requirements as needed Required Qualifications • Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required • BLS certification required • Passing EKG test required at time of submission • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Telemetry or Medical-Surgical setting • New graduates are not eligible for this position • Must submit: resume, 2 professional references, skills checklist, copies of certifications and license verification, BLS, and passing EKG test results Preferred Experience / Skills • 4 or more years of Telemetry or Medical-Surgical RN experience preferred • Experience with Epic electronic health records system Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a dynamic care environment managing telemetry and medical-surgical patients across multiple units • Expected schedule of 12-hour day shifts with no on-call requirements
