Job Title Travel RN – Medical Surgical Location Arlington, TX | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in an acute care setting • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols • Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required • Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience • Must meet travel nursing eligibility requirements for this assignment Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience in an acute care hospital environment • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems • Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills Why Join Us • Expected 48 hours per week, offering a consistent and structured schedule across a three-day weekend shift • 13-week travel contract with a projected start date in fall 2026, providing a defined and rewarding short-term opportunity
