Job Title Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Location Great Bend, KS | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Weekend rotation required | Holidays required based on unit needs Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting • Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Float to other units within scope of practice as needed • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards • Participate in weekend rotation and holiday coverage based on unit needs Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kansas or compact state eligibility • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience • Prior travel nursing experience required • BLS certification required • ACLS certification required • TNCC certification required • ENPC certification required • New graduates are not eligible for this position Preferred Experience / Skills • 2 or more years of Emergency Room nursing experience • 1 or more years of travel nursing experience Why Join Us • Virtual orientation held weekly, offering a flexible and convenient onboarding experience • Nicotine-free facility committed to a healthy work environment
