Job Title Registered Nurse – Telemetry Location Evanston, IL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 10–14 Weeks | Full-Time | 12-Hour Day Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed Key Responsibilities • Provide direct inpatient nursing care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients in an ICU setting • Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and perform ongoing patient assessments • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols • Float to other Med/Surg, Telemetry, and related units as needed — first to float • Participate in orientation as scheduled on designated orientation days Required Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Neurology nursing experience • New graduates are not eligible for this position • Active Illinois (IL) Registered Nurse license required • BLS certification required • NIHSS certification required • Must pass a facility EKG competency test Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience caring for neurological patient populations • Familiarity with ICU workflows and inpatient admission processes • Prior float pool or multi-unit nursing experience Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care environment with exposure to Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ICU patient populations • Consistent day shift schedule with expected 12-hour shifts in a well-established inpatient setting
