Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Telemetry Location Plymouth, MA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Weekends and Holidays Expected Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical Telemetry floors as part of a float pool, covering all MS Tele units as needed • Float to like units and overflow areas as assigned • Monitor and interpret telemetry and ECG readings in accordance with unit protocols • Administer and manage medications in compliance with facility standards • Complete and pass a Dysrhythmia and Medication competency exam (85% passing score, one attempt only) prior to assignment start • Apply knowledge of critical paths and contribute to patient care planning Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required • Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical Telemetry experience • Current AHA BLS Certification required • Current AHA ACLS Certification required • Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam prior to assignment (85% minimum, one attempt only — no remediation or re-sit available) • Candidates who have worked at this facility as travel, permanent, or per diem within the last six months are not eligible — a minimum six-month separation is required Preferred Experience / Skills • Charge Nurse experience preferred • Documented professional development activities • Familiarity with critical pathways in a Med Surg Telemetry setting Why Join Us • Expected 72 hours biweekly, providing a consistent and structured work schedule (on-call hours not included) • Opportunity to work across multiple Med Surg Telemetry units, broadening clinical experience in an acute care environment
