Job Title Physical Therapist Location Decatur, IL | Outpatient Orthopedic Schedule / Job Type Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, Days | Expected 40 hours/week | 5 x 8-hour shifts Key Responsibilities • Manage a caseload of 10–11 patients per day across a diverse range of outpatient orthopedic diagnoses including back pain, ACL tears, rotator cuff conditions, vestibular disorders, and manual therapy cases • Conduct evaluations scheduled in 30-minute blocks, with sessions lasting approximately 1–1.25 hours • Provide skilled physical therapy services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations • Collaborate effectively within a PT/PTA clinical team, including 2 PTs and 1 PTA, supported by front desk staff and rehab aides • Complete clinical documentation using the NextGen documentation system, with AI-assisted scribe technology available to support real-time documentation Required Qualifications • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Illinois • Outpatient case management experience • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required; new graduates are not eligible for this position Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience treating orthopedic conditions such as disc herniation, osteoarthritis, plantar fasciitis, fractures, and postural dysfunction • Experience with vestibular therapy and manual therapy techniques • Familiarity with the NextGen documentation system Why Join Us • Join an energetic, collaborative outpatient orthopedic clinic with an engaged patient population and a positive team dynamic among both experienced and newer clinicians • Clinicians are supported by purpose-built AI documentation scribe technology designed to assist with generating compliant clinical documentation in real time, helping you stay focused on patient care
