Job Title Registered Nurse – Endoscopy/GI Location Orangeburg, SC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 5x8s, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Every third weekend required | On-call rotation required (approximately every third weekend, Friday 3:00 PM – Monday 6:00 AM, plus some weekday after-hours call shared among the team) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in an Endoscopy/GI setting with a 1:1 patient ratio • Participate in an on-call rotation shared with full-time staff, covering approximately every third weekend and select weekday after-hours periods • Remain available to respond to the facility within 30 minutes during assigned on-call hours, or stay on-site if needed • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records • Adhere to facility protocols, scrub color requirements (Navy Blue), and compliance standards throughout the assignment • Be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams Required Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy RN experience required; first-time travelers not accepted • Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date • BLS certification required • ACLS certification required • Must reside within or be willing to remain within 30 minutes of the facility during on-call periods • Local candidates (within 60 miles) may be considered on a case-by-case basis Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with Epic electronic health records charting system • Familiarity with Endoscopy/GI procedures and 1:1 patient care environments • Flexibility to accommodate facility scheduling needs, including on-call and weekend rotations Why Join Us • Work in a well-established acute care facility with a collaborative team environment and no floating required outside of your specialty • Complimentary on-site parking available for the duration of your assignment
