Job Title Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel Contract) Location El Paso, TX | Emergency Room / Freestanding Emergency Department Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 4 weekend days required per schedule period | Expected 36 or 48 hours/week based on facility approval Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed emergency department setting with a 4:1 patient ratio • Perform and assist with procedures including IV insertion, EKG, in-and-out Foley catheterization, lumbar puncture, central lines, moderate sedation, and cardioversion • Operate and monitor equipment including ventilators, EKG machines, and Teleneuro technology • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, HUCs, and PCTs/Paramedics during night shift operations • Document patient care accurately using an EMR system (Level 3) • Maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC certifications throughout the duration of the assignment Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license • BLS certification required • ACLS certification required • PALS or ENPC certification required • TNCC certification required • Minimum 1 year of emergency room nursing experience Preferred Experience / Skills • STABLE certification • NRP certification • Experience in a high-acuity or freestanding emergency department environment • Team-oriented, adaptable, and energetic personality with a willingness to learn Why Join Us • Join a well-staffed, active emergency department with a collaborative team and access to advanced equipment and technology • Permanent positions may be available on the unit, offering potential long-term opportunity following the contract period
