Job Title Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Location Asheville, NC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment • Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience • Current BLS certification required • Current ACLS certification required • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting • Experience with high-acuity and trauma patient populations • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems Why Join Us • Opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience in a dynamic Emergency Room setting in the heart of Western North Carolina • Supportive placement process with a dedicated team to assist you throughout your 13-week assignment
