Job Title Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Location Olathe, KS | Emergency Department Schedule / Job Type Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 Shifts per Week | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a 29-bed Emergency Department serving a high-volume environment with approximately 120 patients daily • Manage patient assignments at a 3:1 ratio, with the possibility of 4:1 when needed • Care for inpatient boarders within the ED setting as required • Function as a self-motivated, team-oriented clinician capable of adapting to rapidly changing conditions • Work up to 3 weekend nights (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) per pay period • Cover one holiday per group as determined by unit needs: Thanksgiving Eve or Day | Christmas Eve or Day | New Year's Eve or Day Required Qualifications • Active Kansas or Multi-State RN License • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required • NIHSS certification required • Conscious Sedation Competency required • Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience within the last 12 months Preferred Experience / Skills • TNCC certification preferred • Experience in a chest pain center or primary stroke center environment • Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system Why Join Us • Work in a dynamic, high-acuity Emergency Department that serves as a designated chest pain and primary stroke center • Join a collaborative team environment with no floating outside of the unit
