Job Title Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) Location Glenview, IL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Weekends, holidays, and floating as needed | On-call expected approximately 3–4 shifts per month with a 2-hour minimum callback and must be available to arrive within 30 minutes Key Responsibilities • Perform circulating RN duties within the Cardiovascular OR setting • Assist with open heart and endovascular cardiac procedures • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency throughout all phases of care • Fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled, responding within required timeframes • Float to other OR areas as needed Required Qualifications • Active Illinois RN License required • CPR certification required (ACLS not required) • Minimum 3+ years of CVOR experience as a staff nurse, with core CVOR circulating experience • At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment • Proficiency with Epic EMR • New graduates are not eligible for this position Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with endovascular and/or cardiac open heart procedures • Ability to scrub CVOR cases • Experience floating to a main OR environment Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a high-acuity cardiovascular surgical environment with a well-established healthcare system • Gain valuable experience in a specialized OR setting with a collaborative surgical team
