Job Title Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics Location Saint Louis, MO | Acute Care (Children's Hospital) Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required Key Responsibilities • Provide respiratory care services within a high-acuity pediatric acute care hospital environment • Deliver care in specialized units including NICU and/or PICU settings • Support patients across pediatric critical care and emergency department contexts within a Level 1 Trauma Facility • Utilize EPIC for clinical documentation and charting • Adhere to facility compliance deadlines, scheduling policies, and fit-testing requirements Required Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience (first-time travelers accepted) • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required • BCLS certification required • Active MO license or compact license matching permanent residence (may submit without MO license in hand; IL license must be in hand at time of submittal) • NICU and/or PICU experience required • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience in a Level 1 Trauma or high-volume emergency department setting • Background working in a teaching hospital environment • Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records platform Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a large, 400-bed children's acute care teaching hospital with a dynamic, high-acuity patient population • Expected 36 hours per week with a structured day shift schedule offering work-life consistency
