Job Title Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery Location Devils Lake, ND Schedule / Job Type Contract | Rotating Shifts | 3x12-hour shifts per week | Expected 36 hours/week Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care to laboring patients and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process • Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition • Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, supporting physicians and midwives as needed • Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols • Educate patients and families on labor progression, postpartum care, and newborn care • Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing, eligible to practice in North Dakota • Current BLS certification required • Prior experience in Labor and Delivery nursing • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required or ability to obtain prior to start • Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems • Familiarity with fetal monitoring and interpretation • ACLS or AWHONN certification Why Join Us • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a community-based care setting supporting maternal and newborn health • Contract position offering flexibility and professional growth in a specialized nursing environment
