Job Title Travel RN – Emergency Room | Holiday Coverage Location Asheville, NC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 16-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting throughout a 16-week holiday coverage assignment • Perform triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring of emergency patients across varying acuity levels • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and outcomes Required Qualifications • Active RN license valid in the state of North Carolina or a compact state license • BLS and ACLS certifications required • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience • Ability to work night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) for the duration of the assignment • Projected start date of October 19, 2026 Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience working in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma center emergency department • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems commonly used in acute care settings • Strong ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows as a travel clinician Why Join Us • Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic emergency care environment during a meaningful holiday coverage period • Supportive placement process with a staffing team dedicated to setting travel clinicians up for success
