Job Title Travel RN – Labor and Delivery (Night Shift) Location Asheville, North Carolina Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Labor and Delivery unit with patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2 • Assist with and support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and hysterectomy procedures • Perform immediate newborn care and manage high-risk obstetric patients • Operate Baxter infusion pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring equipment • Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR and Fetal Ink systems • Float to MFMU, MOMB, and NICU units as needed and upon approval Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience • High-risk obstetric patient care experience • Demonstrated competency in immediate newborn care • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification • Current BLS/ALS and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications Preferred Experience / Skills • Circulating experience in the Labor and Delivery setting • Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Why Join Us • Join a high-acuity Labor and Delivery unit at a regionally recognized referral center that includes a Level III NICU and comprehensive women's services • Scrubs are provided, and weekend and on-call requirements are not mandatory, with availability upon approval
