Job Title Registered Nurse – Operating Room Location Iron Mountain, MI | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 8-hour shifts beginning between 0545 and 0900 | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Provide perioperative nursing care across a multi-suite OR environment, supporting up to 3 concurrent rooms with an average of 9 cases per day • Cover Pre-Surgery/PATT and PACU in addition to intraoperative duties • Assist with a broad range of surgical specialties including General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, and Cardiology (pacemakers, lead revisions, etc.) • Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately 5 days per month); weekday call runs 1430–0630 and weekend call runs Friday 1430 through Monday 0630, including holiday call rotation • Respond to STAT cases and be ready to make incision within 30 minutes or less of call activation • Document and chart using the facility's EMR system (Paragon) Required Qualifications • Active RN license valid for the state of Michigan • Current BLS certification required • Demonstrated experience in General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, and Cardiology OR cases • Experience in Pre-Surgery/PATT and PACU settings required • Must clock in and out at the facility for all shifts • Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission date; prior work history at this facility must be disclosed at time of submission • Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible as a non-local candidate Preferred Experience / Skills • Familiarity with Paragon EMR • Experience with on-call responsibilities in a surgical setting • Ability to adapt to a manager-built block schedule Why Join Us • Scrubs are provided by the facility, reducing out-of-pocket expenses for clinicians • One-week unit-specific orientation provided to support a smooth transition onto the team
