Job Title Registered Nurse – Operating Room Location Florence, SC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call required Key Responsibilities • Provide perioperative nursing care across a 12-room operating room suite serving a Level 3 trauma center • Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across multiple service lines including general, neuro, ortho, ENT, and GYN • Participate in on-call coverage, including up to 2 late call shifts per week (until 11:00 PM) and every 3rd to 4th weekend call • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records • Wear a radiation badge at all times when required; badge must be supplied by the staffing agency prior to start • Be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams Required Qualifications • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care operating room setting with broad specialty competency (general, neuro, ortho, ENT, GYN) • Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license required (candidates with a pending SC license may be considered with proof of application) • BLS certification required • Radiation badge required and must be provided by the staffing agency — the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers • Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local travelers are not accepted • Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler Preferred Experience / Skills • Well-rounded OR background with demonstrated competency across multiple surgical service lines • Prior travel nursing experience, though first-time travelers with broad specialty competency will be considered • Familiarity with Epic charting system Why Join Us • Scrubs are provided and parking is available at no cost • Work within a dynamic, high-acuity surgical environment at a Level 3 trauma center with a diverse range of cases
