Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Canton, OH Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours • Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition • Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans • Participate in required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations • Rotate holiday coverage as required, working at minimum every other holiday Required Qualifications • Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry • Active permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact state license in hand at time of submission • Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification in hand at time of submission • Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification in hand at time of submission • NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to start date • Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system required Preferred Experience / Skills • 18 months of specialty experience obtained within a single facility location • Demonstrated experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a high-acuity Medical Surgical / Telemetry environment with a reputable healthcare system • Contract extensions available for high-performing travelers for up to 18 months of continuous placement
