Job Title Physical Therapist (PT) Location Neillsville, WI | Acute Care / Outpatient Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Minimal weekend requirements (approximately once every 2–3 months, 1–3 hours max) | No holiday requirements Key Responsibilities • Treat 8–12 patients per day in 30- to 45-minute treatment blocks • Manage a caseload that is approximately 90% outpatient and 5–10% inpatient evaluations, with a PTA covering the ongoing inpatient treatment load • Evaluate and treat patients across acute care and swing bed settings • Address a patient population consisting of approximately 90% orthopedic diagnoses and 5–10% general weakness and neurological conditions • Collaborate with rehab support staff, including a rehab aide, to deliver quality patient care • Adhere to facility timekeeping requirements, including clocking in and out on-site Required Qualifications • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Wisconsin (or eligibility) • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required • Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard contract rate Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy • Familiarity with acute care and swing bed settings • Ability to work efficiently alongside PTAs and rehab support staff Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a collaborative rehab environment with a supportive team structure, including PTA and rehab aide support • Predictable daytime schedule with minimal weekend commitments and no holiday requirements
