Job Title Surgical Technologist (Certified) Location Portland, OR | Short Term Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Perform scrub technologist duties in a surgical services setting at a 1:1 ratio • Participate in on-call coverage, including weekday and weekend call rotations • Work weekend shifts as required to meet department needs • Chart and document using Epic electronic health records system • May be expected to float to nearby sister facilities as needed • Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Required Qualifications • Certification through NBSTSA (Certified Surgical Technologist) required • Minimum of 1 year of surgical technologist experience required • Valid state license or compact license must be in hand at time of submission • Must have travel experience • 2 professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted under alternate terms) Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior travel contract experience in a surgical services or acute care setting • Familiarity with Epic charting system • Experience with on-call and weekend shift requirements in a high-volume OR environment Why Join Us • Work in a large, well-established acute care facility with a robust surgical services department • Complimentary on-site parking provided for the duration of your assignment
