Job Title Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) Location Glenview, IL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Weekends, holidays, and floating as needed | On-call expected approximately 3–4 shifts per month with a 2-hour minimum callback and required availability within 30 minutes of the facility Key Responsibilities • Perform circulating RN duties in a cardiovascular operating room environment • Support cardiac open heart and endovascular surgical procedures • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and continuity of care throughout perioperative phases • Respond to on-call assignments within required response time parameters • Float to other OR areas as needed Required Qualifications • Active Illinois RN License (must be current and in good standing) • CPR certification required • Minimum 3+ years of CVOR experience as a staff nurse, with core CVOR circulating experience • Proficiency with Epic EMR • No new graduates accepted • At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment required Preferred Experience / Skills • Endovascular and/or cardiac open heart surgical experience • Ability to scrub CVOR cases • Experience floating to a main OR setting Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a high-acuity cardiovascular OR environment with a well-established surgical team • Gain valuable experience in a dynamic acute care setting with exposure to complex cardiac and endovascular cases
