Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Maryville, TN | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend expected Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours • Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system • Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system • Float to like units based on skill set and demonstrated competencies as needed due to census demands • Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or a valid multistate/compact RN license • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry • Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR • Must not be a first-time traveler — prior travel nursing experience required • Must live more than 50 miles from the contracted facility to be eligible (night shift Medical Tele/Progressive Care applicants) Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience in both teaching hospital and community hospital settings • Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems Why Join Us • Pre-assignment orientation modules may be reimbursable for up to 16 hours of completed work • Floating assignments are limited to units where competencies have already been demonstrated and documented, supporting a safe and familiar work environment
