Job Title Registered Nurse – Oncology (BMT) Location Saint Louis, MO | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) Key Responsibilities • Administer chemotherapy and manage autologous stem cell transplant patients in a BMT Oncology setting • Administer blood and blood products; access and manage implanted ports and central lines • Perform PICC line care, central line blood draws, Foley catheter insertion and management, and IV placement and maintenance • Monitor and interpret telemetry; must pass Relias EKG exam — Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required • Administer antibiotics and antiemetics; maintain isolation precautions as indicated • Float throughout the Oncology department to units with the greatest need per shift; patient ratio is 4:1 Required Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of Oncology nursing experience required • ONS/ONCC certification required • Chemotherapy certification required • ACLS and BLS/BCLS required • Active Missouri RN license or compact license matching permanent residence required; Illinois license must be in hand at time of submittal if applicable • Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with autologous stem cell transplant patient populations • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records • Experience in a Magnet-designated or Level I Trauma teaching hospital environment Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a high-acuity, Magnet-designated Level I Trauma teaching facility with a robust oncology program • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
