Job Title Registered Nurse – Oncology (BMT) Location Saint Louis, MO | Short Term Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a BMT Oncology unit with a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and an average daily census of 30 across 32 beds • Administer chemotherapy and support patients undergoing autologous stem cell transplants • Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias; must pass Relias EKG exam prior to assignment • Perform and manage central line blood draws, PICC line care, port access/management, IV insertion and maintenance, Foley catheter insertion/management, and administration of blood products, antibiotics, and antiemetics • Maintain isolation precautions and telemetry monitoring throughout the shift • Float within the Oncology service line to units with the greatest need per shift; assignment to a specific unit is not guaranteed Required Qualifications • Active RN license (MO or compact license required; compact license must match permanent residence) • Minimum 1 year of Oncology nursing experience required • ONS/ONCC certification required • Chemotherapy certification required • ACLS and BLS/BCLS required by compliance deadline • Every other weekend availability required • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with autologous stem cell transplant patient populations • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records • First-time travelers are welcome to apply Why Join Us • Opportunity to work within a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma teaching facility with a nationally recognized oncology program • Gain experience in a high-acuity BMT environment with a structured float model across the oncology service line
