Job Title Registered Nurse – Oncology Location Saint Louis, MO | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Oncology unit managing solid tumor diagnoses (lung, breast, pancreatic) and BMT patients including leukemia and bone marrow conditions • Administer chemotherapy and post-treatment care; perform IV starts, port access, and central line management • Perform trach care and operate CAD pumps; no ventilator management required • Support stem cell transplantation patients within scope of practice and experience • Pass Relias EKG exam; demonstrate interpretation and management of dysrhythmias • Float within the oncology service line as needed to meet facility staffing requirements Required Qualifications • Active RN license in Missouri or a qualifying compact state (must match permanent residence); Illinois license must be in hand at time of submittal • ACLS certification required by compliance document deadline • BLS certification required • Minimum 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers considered • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records • Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills • BSN degree preferred • Prior BMT or bone marrow transplant nursing experience • Chemotherapy administration certification • Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG management Why Join Us • Opportunity to practice at a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital with a robust oncology and BMT program • Expected schedule of 3 shifts per week with every-other-weekend rotation in a high-acuity, specialized clinical environment
