Special Education Teacher Primary Purpose: Special Education Teacher role is focused on highly individualized instruction in small classes. Villa serves students with language-based learning differences, auditory processing challenges, NVLD, ASD, ADHD, and other learning profiles. Teachers work closely with an integrated team of SLPs, counselors, social workers, OTs, and other educators. Position Details: • Location: Stamford, CT • Salary: $55,000-80,000 • Hours: M-F - May Vary Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education required, Master’s degree preferred. • Valid CT teaching certification in Special Education. Work Environment: • Classroom and school environment, which may include both individual and group instruction. • May involve working with students in various settings (classroom, therapy rooms, or outdoor spaces). • Frequent interaction with parents, staff, and administrators.
