Job Title Registered Nurse – Telemetry Location Glenview, IL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 8-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-Hour Shifts | Every-Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Needed Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including boarded patients within the emergency department setting • Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and EKG readings; EKG experience and passing an EKG competency test are required • Float to other medical-surgical units as patient census and staffing needs dictate • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care • Document patient information and care accurately using electronic health record systems Required Qualifications • Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Passing EKG competency test required at time of submission • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a telemetry or medical-surgical setting • New graduates are not eligible for this position • Submission requirements include: resume, two professional references, skills checklist, copies of certifications and license verification, BLS, and passing EKG test results Preferred Experience / Skills • 4 or more years of RN experience in telemetry or medical-surgical care • Experience with Epic electronic health records • Familiarity with caring for boarded patients in an emergency department environment Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care environment with a collaborative interdisciplinary team • Biweekly payroll with a structured 8-week contract offering a defined schedule and clear expectations
