Job Title Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery Location Great Bend, KS Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights (18:45–07:15) | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required | 2–3 on-call shifts per month Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) setting during night shift hours • Float to Medical-Surgical unit as needed to support overflow patient census • Monitor and assess fetal status using intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring techniques • Care for pediatric patients as required during float assignments • Participate in on-call rotation, including callback availability during scheduled shifts • Adhere to all facility policies, including nicotine-free workplace requirements Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license • Minimum 2 years of Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) experience • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (PALS must be obtained prior to start date) • Completion of an intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring course within the past 24 months • Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical and provide care for pediatric patients Preferred Experience / Skills • 3 or more years of LDR experience, preferably in a rural hospital setting • Previous travel nursing experience • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system Why Join Us • Virtual orientation provided for a smooth and convenient onboarding experience • Opportunity to work in a close-knit rural healthcare environment with a diverse patient care scope
