Job Title Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Location Sheridan, WY | Skilled Nursing Facility Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Expected 36 hours/week Key Responsibilities • Provide occupational therapy treatment services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist • Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery and functional independence • Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility and regulatory standards • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care • Assist in the assessment and modification of treatment approaches based on patient response and progress Required Qualifications • Current COTA certification through NBCOT • Active state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA in Wyoming • Ability to fulfill a 13-week contract commitment • Strong documentation and communication skills Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting • Familiarity with PACS or similar electronic documentation systems • Experience working with geriatric populations Why Join Us • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive skilled nursing environment in Wyoming • Consistent day-shift schedule with expected full-time hours throughout the contract duration
