Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Canton, OH Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours • Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition • Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations • Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday as required Required Qualifications • Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry • Active permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact state license in hand at time of submission • Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification in hand at time of submission • Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification in hand at time of submission • NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start date • Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system required Preferred Experience / Skills • 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single facility location • Demonstrated ability to recognize and respond to cardiac arrhythmias in a telemetry setting • Prior travel nursing experience with familiarity in compliance-driven onboarding processes Why Join Us • Opportunity to work within a well-established health system on a structured contract with potential for extensions up to 18 months • Supportive onboarding process with billable module hours included as part of your contract
