Job Title Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Location Salinas, CA Schedule / Job Type Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday schedule preferred Key Responsibilities • Implement occupational therapy treatment plans for short-term and long-term skilled nursing residents • Provide patient-centered care focused on improving functional independence under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist • Communicate effectively with the supervising Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team • Maintain compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and applicable regulatory standards • Complete clinical documentation in Net Health in accordance with facility standards Required Qualifications • Active California Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in good standing • Strong documentation and time-management skills • Flexible and collaborative mindset with ability to adapt to a large, dynamic care environment Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting • Candidates with 0–1 year of experience are welcome to apply; mentorship is available Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a large, dynamic skilled nursing facility serving the Monterey County community • Mentorship support available, making this a great opportunity for newer COTAs looking to grow in the SNF setting
