Job Title Registered Nurse – Oncology (BMT) Location Saint Louis, MO | Short Term Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a BMT Oncology unit with a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and an average daily census of 30 across 32 beds • Administer chemotherapy and support patients undergoing autologous stem cell transplants • Manage central lines, PICC lines, implanted ports, and perform central line blood draws • Administer blood and blood products, antibiotics, and antiemetics; perform Foley catheter insertion and management • Interpret telemetry and manage dysrhythmias; must be prepared to pass a Relias EKG exam • Float within the Oncology service line as needed based on unit census and staffing requirements Required Qualifications • Active RN license (MO or compact; compact must match permanent residence) • Minimum 1 year of Oncology nursing experience required • ONS/ONCC certification required • Chemotherapy certification required • ACLS and BLS/BCLS required (ACLS must be obtained by compliance document deadline) • Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with autologous stem cell transplant patient populations • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records • Experience with isolation precautions and telemetry monitoring • First-time travelers are welcome to apply Why Join Us • Opportunity to work at a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma teaching facility with a nationally recognized oncology program • Every other weekend schedule expected, offering a degree of work-life balance within a high-acuity specialty environment
