Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Seneca, SC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring responsibilities • Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies • Provide weekend coverage on a rotating basis (approximately every other weekend, subject to change based on unit need) • Complete pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within 48 hours of receiving login credentials • Pass an EKG exam and complete required core competencies prior to or at the start of assignment • Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system Required Qualifications • Active South Carolina RN License required • ACLS certification required • BLS certification required • NIHSS certification required • Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR required • Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry; candidates with 1+ years of recent relevant experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis • Must reside more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be eligible; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with Omnicell medication dispensing system • Prior travel nursing experience considered; first-time travelers may be reviewed based on experience • Demonstrated ability to float across multiple unit types and adapt to varying patient populations Why Join Us • Pre-assignment orientation modules are billable (up to 16 hours), offering additional compensation for your preparation time • Opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic acute care environment with exposure to both Medical Surgical and Telemetry patient populations
