Job Title Registered Nurse – Operating Room Location Florence, SC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call required Key Responsibilities • Provide perioperative nursing care across a 12-room operating room department serving a Level 3 trauma center • Support a broad range of surgical service lines including general, neuro, ortho, ENT, and GYN procedures • Participate in on-call coverage, including up to 2 late call shifts per week (until 11:00 PM) and every 3rd to 4th weekend call • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records • Adhere to all radiation safety protocols; a radiation badge must be supplied by the staffing agency prior to start — the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers Required Qualifications • Active South Carolina RN license or Multistate/Compact RN license (candidates with a pending SC license may be considered with proof of application or confirmation of ability to complete the SC walk-through process; clearance to report will not occur until the SC license is active) • BLS certification required • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care operating room setting with a well-rounded, broad scope of specialty competency (general, neuro, ortho, ENT, and GYN) • Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted • Previous permanent or PRN staff at this facility must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler • All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial submission; time-off requests submitted after the fact will not be accepted Preferred Experience / Skills • Proficiency with Epic electronic health records charting system • Experience working in a trauma center environment • Broad surgical scrub and circulating competency across multiple service lines Why Join Us • Scrubs are provided by the facility, and parking is available at no cost • First-time travelers with a strong, broad scope of OR specialty competency are welcome to apply
