Job Title Registered Nurse – House Supervisor Location Arcata, CA Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift Key Responsibilities • Provide supervisory oversight of nursing operations during overnight hours • Serve as the administrative and clinical resource for nursing staff across the facility during the night shift • Coordinate patient care activities, staffing, and bed management throughout the shift • Respond to and manage clinical emergencies, including neonatal and pediatric situations as needed • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care Required Qualifications • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required • Proof of negative TB screening within 12 months of contract start date Preferred Experience / Skills • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification • Prior experience in a house supervisor or charge nurse role • Experience managing clinical operations across multiple units or departments Why Join Us • Night shift contract position with an expected 36 hours per week, offering consistent scheduling • Opportunity to take on a leadership role in a facility serving a unique and scenic region of Northern California
