Job Title Registered Nurse – CVICU Location Cleveland, OH | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30 Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting • Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition • Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with unit protocols • Participate in holiday coverage, working at least every other holiday as scheduled • Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate with an acceptable passing score Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission • Minimum of 12 months of permanent employment experience in CVICU or the specialty being applied for • Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required • Active ACLS certification required • Active NIHSS certification required • One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required (co-worker references will not be accepted) • Locals are welcome and accepted Preferred Experience / Skills • CVICU experience concentrated within a single facility or location • Familiarity with ECG rhythm interpretation and medication safety assessment tools • Experience working in a high-acuity cardiovascular or critical care environment Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a high-acuity, specialized cardiovascular ICU at a nationally recognized medical campus • Contract extension opportunities may be available for qualified candidates in good standing
