Job Title RN - Emergency Room Location Irving, TX | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Full-Time | Permanent | Onsite | Mid/Evening Shift | 3 shifts per week Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting • Rotate to various areas within the ED based on experience and training • Participate in Evidence Based Practice and Process Improvement projects • Support Express Care/fast track operations for lower acuity patients • Collaborate with EMS partners and interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely, high-quality care • Engage in ongoing trauma training and department-specific education initiatives Required Qualifications • Graduate of an accredited nursing program • Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience • BLS (Basic Life Support) — required within 30 days of hire • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) required • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience in a trauma-designated or stroke/chest pain center environment • Familiarity with self-scheduling and voluntary on-call models • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification or interest in obtaining one Why Join Us • Work in a department pursuing Level III Trauma designation with a Primary Stroke Center and Primary Chest Pain Center designation, offering strong clinical growth opportunities • Certified Emergency Nurse exam fees may be covered, supporting your professional development
