Job Title • Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer Location • Temple, TX Schedule / Job Type • Full-time, rotating shifts, on-site Key Responsibilities • Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress tests for adult patients. • Prepare and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance. • Educate and prep patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns. • Review and analyze ultrasound images, report findings, and document patient information accurately. • Assist in evaluating patient history and framing clinical questions to guide the examination. • Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays, with the requirement to be onsite within one hour of call. Required Qualifications • Graduate of an accredited technical or associate degree program in Radiology or related field. • Less than 1 year of professional ultrasound experience. • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI or Registered Diag Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer. Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with advanced echocardiography or vascular ultrasound techniques. • Ability to work flexible hours, including extended shifts and weekends. • Comfortable traveling occasionally with portable ultrasound equipment to off-site facilities.
