Role Objective The Cost Specialist is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, supporting proposal development, coordinating with the Cost Engineering Lead, and ensuring timely and error-free submission of estimation inputs. • ESTIMATION PREPARATION • The individual shall prepare detailed cost estimates based on project requirements and inputs received. • The individual must ensure accurate quantity take-offs and calculations. • The individual shall follow standard estimation formats defined by the company. • The individual must ensure that all components required for the project are properly included in the estimate. • The individual shall avoid missing items, incorrect quantities, or calculation errors. • BOQ DEVELOPMENT • The individual shall prepare clear and structured BOQs (Bill of Quantities). • The individual must ensure that BOQs are complete, properly itemized, and easy to understand. • The individual shall align BOQ with project drawings, specifications, and client requirements. • The individual must ensure that BOQs are free from duplication or omission of items. • DATA COLLECTION & RATE ANALYSIS • The individual shall collect material rates, vendor quotations, and market pricing data. • The individual must ensure that all rates used in estimation are updated and realistic. • The individual shall maintain a record of quotations and cost references. • The individual must support in rate analysis and cost breakdown preparation. • COORDINATION WITH COST ENGINEERING LEAD • The individual shall work under the guidance of the Cost Engineering Lead for all estimation tasks. • The individual must ensure clarity on scope before starting estimation work. • The individual shall submit all work for review and approval before finalization. • The individual must implement feedback and corrections without delay. • TIMELINE & PRODUCTIVITY • The individual shall complete estimation tasks within defined timelines. • The individual must prioritize work based on urgency and project requirements. • The individual shall maintain consistent productivity across assignments. • The individual must avoid delays in estimation submission. • REVISION MANAGEMENT • The individual shall handle revisions in estimates based on changes in scope or client requirements. • The individual must ensure quick turnaround for revised BOQs and pricing. • The individual shall maintain proper version control of estimation files. • QUALITY & ERROR CONTROL • The individual shall ensure high accuracy in all estimation work. • The individual must minimize rework and corrections after submission. • The individual shall cross-check all calculations before submission. • The individual must follow quality standards set by the company. • DOCUMENTATION & DATA MANAGEMENT • The individual shall maintain proper documentation of all estimation files and BOQs. • The individual must organize data in a structured and accessible format. • The individual shall update cost databases and reference sheets regularly. • The individual must ensure that no data is lost or misplaced. • COORDINATION WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS • The individual shall coordinate with:  Design team for drawings and specifications  Sales team for requirement clarity • The individual must ensure clear understanding of inputs before estimation. • The individual shall avoid miscommunication or incorrect interpretation of scope. • LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT • The individual shall continuously improve technical knowledge related to cleanroom, HVAC, and project costing. • The individual must develop understanding of project execution to improve estimation accuracy. • The individual shall learn from past projects and feedback from Lead. • REPORTING & DISCIPLINE • The individual shall update daily work status to the Cost Engineering Lead. • The individual must maintain transparency in task progress and challenges. • The individual shall follow all company processes and reporting formats. �� PERFORMANCE EVALUATION CRITERIA The Cost Specialist will be evaluated based on:  Accuracy of estimates and BOQs  Timely completion of tasks  Number of estimates prepared  Quality of documentation  Responsiveness to revisions  Coordination with Lead and team  Reduction in errors and rework Company: Acme HR Consulting Experience: 2 years Location: Thane Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Negotiable (based on experience & skills) How to Apply Send your updated resume to: [email protected] [email protected] Contact Us 79866-94813 79866-43012
