The Role In this position, you will have the opportunity to: • Establish long-term relationships with clients and their pets through comprehensive wellness and preventive medicine. • Evaluate and treat a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions using a combination of clinical assessment and advanced diagnostics. • Perform routine and more involved dental procedures, including oral surgery, with access to dental radiography and an experienced support team. • Participate in a variety of soft-tissue surgical cases, including mass removals, cystotomies, pyometra procedures, gastrointestinal foreign bodies, and other general surgical needs. • Practice with an emphasis on minimizing patient stress and creating a comfortable, low-fear veterinary experience. • Work closely with veterinarians who have additional expertise in areas such as surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and preventive care. • Take advantage of mentorship, continuing education, and both in-house and external professional development opportunities. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will have: • A DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited veterinary program. • An active Maryland veterinary license or the ability to obtain one. • At least two years of experience in companion-animal practice preferred. • Prior experience with general surgery and dentistry is a plus. • A strong commitment to quality medicine and patient-centered care. • A collaborative approach and genuine interest in working as part of a team. Compensation & Benefits • Sign-on bonus opportunities for qualified experienced veterinarians • Relocation assistance for eligible candidates • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, including HSA/FSA options • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching • Student loan support for qualifying early-career veterinarians — up to $15,000 annually for four years • $2,500 annual CE allowance plus three paid continuing education days • State licensing renewal, DEA registration, and AVMA membership dues covered • Generous PTO, paid holidays, and parental leave
