Director of Surgical Services – Level II Trauma Center | Treasure Coast, Florida Full-Time | Days, No Weekends | Relocation Assistance Available A well-established acute care hospital on Florida's Treasure Coast is looking for an experienced Director of Surgical Services to lead a busy, high-acuity surgical program. You'll have strong resources, a seasoned leadership team below you, and a direct line to senior leadership. The Department • 13 ORs plus 2 endoscopy suites • Level II Trauma Center • 30–35 cases per day • 3 da Vinci Xi robots • Service lines include ortho, neurosurgery, CV, general, urology, GYN, GYN oncology, ENT, podiatry, pediatrics and vascular Leadership Scope • Reports to the Hospital COO • 3 managers report to you • About 120 FTEs What You'll Do • Lead the overall operations, staffing, forecasting and budget for Surgical Services • Put evidence-based practices in place that improve patient safety and quality outcomes • Reduce variation in clinical practice to improve efficiency, effectiveness and cost • Keep the department compliant with regulatory, accreditation and legal standards, and make sure equipment is maintained to those standards • Improve patient throughput and flow through volume forecasting and strong coordination • Use patient feedback and benchmarking to improve the patient experience • Recruit, develop, coach and retain a high-performing team, and build a culture of accountability and collaboration Requirements • BSN required • Recent experience as a Director of Surgical Services (required) • Master's degree preferred Compensation & Benefits • Competitive base salary, • 17.5% annual bonus potential, with upside up to 150% • Relocation assistance • Comprehensive benefits package Interested, or know someone who would be a fit?
